What it adds
Instagram DMs have become a sales channel: "is this still available?", "do you deliver to Laval?". They arrive in the console like any other conversation, with the same card and the same quick replies, and the reply goes back through Instagram. The list shows "Instagram" next to the name.
How it connects
- An Instagram professional account linked to a Facebook page (Meta requires it).
- In Meta for Developers, an app with the Instagram product, subscribed to messages.
- In the console, Integrations → Instagram: account ID, token, and the chat site these conversations land in.

What to know first
- The 24-hour window, as on Messenger: past that, Meta refuses the reply.
- Tokens expire; the symptom is a conversation that fills up on one side only, and the error is noted inside it.
What it doesn't do
No replying to comments, no story mentions, no posting. Only direct messages.
