Set your business hours

Visitors see “write to us” or “we're closed” depending on what you set here.

Install & sites → your site → Business hours. You pick the time zone, then time slots for each day of the week (Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for example). Several slots in one day are allowed.

Out of hours

The bubble stays, but the message changes: the person sees that you're closed and can leave their email; you'll find them in the inbox the next day with what they wrote. The out-of-hours message is written in all three languages, each in its own field.

If the bot is turned on for this site, it's the one that answers out of hours, based on what you've taught it, and it hands over as soon as something goes beyond what it knows.

Holidays

Add Closed days: a date that's closed even if that day of the week is normally open. Without it, December 25 falls on a Friday, the schedule says “open”, and someone waits all day for a reply that never comes.

What it doesn't do

It doesn't check that someone is really online. If the schedule says open and nobody answers, it's the waiting reminder that alerts the team (90 seconds, then 5 minutes, adjustable on the same screen under Response times).
